The Public Legal Information Association (PLIAN) is hiring a Project Coordinator for a new legal education project starting in October, 2018.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing a new initiative to develop and deliver plain language legal information and education materials for refugees and immigrants throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
This will include research, writing, and editing of plain language booklets and other materials, and the development and delivery of legal presentations in various locations around the province. As a result, travel will be required in this position.

The contract term is from October 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. If funding allows, there is a potential for the contract to be extended.
The rate of pay is $25/hour, based on 35 hours per week.
