Brand New Family Law Website – MyParentsLiveApart.ca

PLIAN is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new website about family law issues aimed at youth in Newfoundland and Labrador!!

MyParentsLiveApart.ca provides information for young people in Newfoundland and Labrador with questions about family law, including:

  • What is separation and divorce?
  • Where will I live after a separation or divorce and who decides that?
  • What is family court?
  • Who can I talk to about how I’m feeling?
  • Where can I get help if I feel unsafe?

And many other questions and issues related to the tough topics of divorce and separation. The website also contains videos, interactive materials, and links all designed to answer questions and provide support for young people in families going through separation or divorce.

PLIAN is grateful to Prime Creative for its work and support in creating this new resource for parents, educators, and young people all over Newfoundland and Labrador.

If you have any questions about this new online resource, please contact Kevin O’Shea, Executive Director of PLIAN, at director@publiclegalinfo.com or 709-722-4745.
